Success stories; Kenyan Chapter
140 Members of Kenya Chapter attended the 17th Biennial Conference and the 8th Quadrennial Meeting held at Golden Tulip Airport Hotel in Zanzibar from 14th to 18th September 2026. H.E. Dr. Wilber Ottichilo, E.G.H, Governor of Vihiga County accompanied the nurses and midwives. Kenya presented three (3) pioneer Fellows who graduated in Critical Care Nursing. The three are Joseph Jefa from The Mombasa Hospital, Mary Kabuogo from KUTRRH who was the best outstanding student. During the Quadrennial meeting Dr. Gylian Dorothy May Mein former Chief Nursing Officer from Seychelles was elected the Present of the College for the period 2026 to 2030. Dr. Priscah Sikola Mukonka was from Zambia elected the Vice President. Dr. Milka Ogayo was elected chairperson of Research Faculty in a hot contest against a candidate from Malawi. Dr. Sophie Muthoni Ngugi was appointted National Representative (NR) for Kenya. Others members from Kenya chapter who were elected as committee members include: Michael Nongesa - Secretary to Faculty of Leadership, Dr. Joan Shisoka Secretary to Faculty of Clinical Practice and Gertrude Opiyo as Vice Chair to Faculty of Education. Kenya will host the 18th Biennial Conference in 2028

- Nakuru County Teaching and Referral Hospital
- Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital (KUTRRH)
- Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital (CGTRH)
